SCULPTRA
Sculptra is a dermal filler that acts as an alternative anti-aging treatment to skin creams and fat injections. It stimulates the production of collagen, an important structural protein found within our connective tissues. It works to promote collagen growth through the use of poly-L-lactic acid, a synthetic, biodegradable compound, using the body’s natural processes to remove lines and promote collagen development which restores a youthful appearance. Three monthly treatments are recommended to achieve desired results, with occasional touch-ups to keep it long-lasting.
PDO THREADS
PDO (Polydioxanone) Threads are medical-grade, dissolvable sutures that are used to induce collagen production in areas such as the face, neck, butt, knees, and arms. Our practice works with MINT Threads, a minimally invasive absorbable thread that’s popular in the Korean beauty industry. The suture material is often used in orthopedic and cardiovascular surgeries and depends on your beauty goals. These threads can be used to lift, volumize, and structure areas of the skin for immediate results.

MICRONEEDLING WITH THE SKIN PEN
Collagen induction therapy, also known as microneedling, uses tiny needles to gradually remove enlarged pores, stretch marks, and acne scars, promoting the skin’s ability to produce collagen and creating an incredible effect on your skin’s health and beauty. By interacting with the top layer of skin, this procedure uses the body’s natural healing process to regenerate the surface layer with fresh, new skin. At our practice, we incorporate microneedling using mechanical techniques with the Skin Pen. The Skin Pen provides a lower downtime and has less photosensitivity than laser treatments.
RADIESSE®
Radiesse® stimulates the body’s natural collagen using Calcium Hydroxyapatite. This filler helps volumizes and remove fine lines along the face and hands. Calcium hydroxyapatite is biosynthetically produced for treatment, but the compound is found naturally in human bones. In addition, when diluted with saline, known as hyperdilute Radiesse, it can be used (off-label) to induce collagen production by the skin and tighten the skin in several areas of the body, including the face, neck, arms, legs, abdomen and buttocks.
